EUAM RCA’s Acting Head of Mission/Chief of Staff participated in the Petit COCEM, bringing together key Central African and international security actors to exchange on the evolving security environment in the Central African Republic and strengthen coordination among partners.
The meeting provided an important forum to discuss security cooperation and coordination, evolving roles and responsibilities, and the need to anticipate future security arrangements. The exchanges highlighted the importance of sustained dialogue between national authorities and international partners as the country’s security environment continues to evolve.
Effective coordination and forward planning are essential to ensure continuity, reinforce national ownership and support the development of sustainable security institutions capable of responding effectively to the country’s security needs.
Through its strategic advice and close coordination with Central African and international partners, EUAM RCA continues to support stronger, more effective and accountable internal security institutions, while contributing to a coherent and coordinated international approach in support of security and stability in the Central African Republic.
