EUAM RCA receives delegation from the British Embassy in Kinshasa

A delegation from the British Embassy in Kinshasa, accredited on a non-resident basis to the Central African Republic, paid a courtesy call to EUAM RCA during a visit to MINUSCA.

The delegation was received by the Head of Mission of EUAM RCA, in the presence of the EUTM RCA Force Commander. Discussions focused on the current security situation in the Central African Republic and the ongoing downsizing of MINUSCA.

The exchange provided an opportunity to discuss the role played by MINUSCA in the broader security environment and how its continued downsizing could affect the implementation of the respective mandates of EUAM RCA and EUTM RCA.

The meeting also allowed for an exchange of views on cooperation among international partners engaged in the security sector and on the implications of a changing international security presence in the Central African Republic.

The visit contributed to the delegation’s broader assessment of the situation in the country and provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the implications of MINUSCA’s evolving presence for international partners operating in the Central African Republic.
