The Central African Republic is continuing to develop the National School of Water, Forests, and the Environment (ENEFE), a strategic initiative aimed at establishing a sustainable national training system for the forestry and environmental sectors.
Strengthening training capacity is essential to improve natural resource management and strengthen the fight against illicit activities, particularly illegal logging and wildlife trafficking, as well as to promote the sustainable management of forest, wildlife, and fisheries resources.
EUAM RCA contributes through targeted advisory support and concrete actions, including training activities for personnel directly involved in the field, aimed at enhancing their effectiveness in combating trafficking and raising public awareness of best practices.
“The development of national training capacities is essential to strengthening the state’s ability to manage and control its natural resources,” stated the EUAM RCA Head of Mission.
“EUAM RCA supports these efforts by strengthening institutional frameworks and promoting more effective and accountable governance.”
Through its engagement, EUAM RCA contributes to stronger institutions, improved coordination, and enhanced state authority, supporting nationally led efforts to increase security and economic resilience.
