On 7 September 2026, 20 personnel from the Central African National Gendarmerie began a week-long training course on human resources management, developed with the support of EUAM RCA.
Of the 20 participants, 10 come from the provinces, extending the reach of the training beyond Bangui. Participants come from several key Gendarmerie units, including territorial and mobile units, where they carry out responsibilities related to human resources management.
Over the course of the week, participants will complete 30 hours of training combining theoretical instruction with practical exercises. The programme is adapted to the realities and resources available in their respective places of assignment, with a focus on knowledge and skills that can be applied directly in their daily work.
The training is delivered by Central African trainers from the National Gendarmerie and the Central African Armed Forces (FACA), strengthening national expertise and promoting the sharing of knowledge within Central African institutions.
Effective human resources management is an essential part of a professional and well-functioning security institution. Through this initiative, EUAM RCA continues to support the National Gendarmerie in strengthening its institutional capacity and developing more effective and sustainable personnel management practices.
The training takes place at EUAM RCA premises in Bangui from 7 to 11 September 2026.
