For six years, EUAM RCA has worked alongside the Central African Republic with a clear objective: to support stronger, more effective and accountable security institutions, thereby contributing to lasting security for the Central African people.
We marked this important milestone with our partners, in the presence of a representative of the European Union Delegation, a representative of the French Embassy, the EUTM RCA Force Commander and the Commander of the Portuguese Quick Reaction Force.
Their presence reflects the broader European commitment underpinning our work: the European Union and its Member States working alongside the Central African Republic and international partners in support of peace, security and stability.
Above all, this anniversary is an opportunity to recognise our Central African partners: the national authorities, the Internal Security Forces and all those who work with us every day. Their ownership, trust and commitment are at the heart of the progress we achieve together.
It is also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the Central African people. Stronger institutions, more professional and effective security services, and better coordination all serve the same purpose: contributing to a safer and more secure future for the population.
Six years have strengthened partnerships, built trust and demonstrated the value of sustained cooperation. Looking ahead, EUAM RCA remains fully committed to working alongside the Central African Republic, the European Union and its Member States, and our international partners to build on the progress achieved.
