EUAM RCA had the pleasure of welcoming Colonel Rui Borges (outgoing) and Colonel Adolfo Reis (incoming), Portuguese Commanders of MINUSCA’s Quick Reaction Force, during a courtesy visit today. The Head of Mission thanked the outgoing commander for his commitment and valuable cooperation, and warmly welcomed the new commander as he assumes his duties.
Like EUAM RCA, the Portuguese QRF works daily to support peace and stability in the Central African Republic 🇨🇫. Portugal — the only EU Member State to deploy a Quick Reaction Force in the country — plays a key role in strengthening security through its operational capacity, professionalism and strong coordination with partners.
