The Police Force cannot be effective if it does not know where its officers are deployed, what skills they possess or how its workforce is evolving. Sound personnel management is one of the foundations of professional policing.
To help strengthen these capacities, EUAM RCA and the Central African National Police have launched a Human Resources Management training course for staff of the Police Human Resources Office (BRH). Participants will combine modern HR practices with practical training on the Integrated Human Resources Information System (SIRH), a digital tool designed to improve the management of police personnel.
Opening the training, the Head of Mission of EUAM RCA stressed that strong security institutions depend not only on operational capabilities, but also on effective systems for managing and developing their personnel. She reaffirmed the Mission's commitment to supporting the Central African authorities in strengthening the Internal Security Forces.
The Director of Human Resources of the National Police welcomed the initiative and thanked EUAM RCA for its continued support, noting that the training will help modernise personnel management and strengthen the institution's ability to manage and deploy its workforce.
By supporting national expertise and modern management tools, EUAM RCA continues to contribute to stronger and more professional security institutions in the Central African Republic.
