Stronger cooperation delivers results in the fight against illicit trafficking!

Recent joint operations conducted by Central African Customs, Police and judicial authorities along the Beloko–Bangui corridor have demonstrated the value of closer cooperation in addressing illicit trafficking and other cross-border threats.

The seizure and destruction of counterfeit and prohibited products resulting from these operations highlight how effective coordination and information-sharing can strengthen border security, improve enforcement and support the rule of law.

As a reliable partner of the Central African authorities, EUAM RCA supports efforts to strengthen interoperability among the Internal Security Forces and other relevant institutions. Through advice, mentoring and capacity-building activities, the Mission contributes to improving cooperation, enhancing institutional effectiveness and strengthening border management capacities.

The results achieved through these joint operations demonstrate how stronger institutions and closer cooperation can deliver tangible benefits for citizens. By preventing prohibited and counterfeit goods from reaching local markets, they help protect public health and safety, safeguard legitimate trade and reinforce public confidence in the institutions responsible for securing the country's borders.

Through its partnership with the Central African authorities, EUAM RCA continues to support stronger institutions, more effective border management and a safer environment for the people of the Central African Republic.
