The EUAM RCA Acting Deputy Head of Mission attended the Flag Presentation Ceremony for the First-Year Officer Cadets at the Central African Officers Training School (EFOC) in Kassaï, Bangui. Organised by the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA) in partnership with the Central African Armed Forces (FACA), the ceremony marked an important milestone in the training of the country's future military officers.
Presided over by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Central African Armed Forces, the event brought together senior FACA officers, representatives of the diplomatic community and civilian authorities, including the Ambassador of the European Union to the Central African Republic. The presentation of the national flag symbolised the cadets' commitment to duty, professionalism and service to their country.
As part of Team Europe, the European Union Delegation, EUTM RCA and EUAM RCA work through complementary mandates to strengthen the Central African Republic's security sector. While EUTM RCA supports the development of capable and professional armed forces, EUAM RCA contributes to strengthening civilian security institutions, governance and operational effectiveness. Together, they support the development of professional and accountable security institutions, contributing to lasting peace, stability and security in the Central African Republic.
