Celebrating Europe Day in Tripoli and the Europe-Libya Partnership of Opportunities

EUBAM Libya was delighted to co-host the Europe Day celebrations in Tripoli together with the EU Delegation.

Alongside Ambassador Nicola Orlando, EUBAM Libya Head of Mission, Frederik Petersen was honoured to welcome Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Salem Al Zadma, several ministers and heads of institutions, Special Representative Hanna Tetteh, as well as mayors, diplomats, UN officials, civil society representatives, and friends, to celebrate the Europe-Libya Partnership of Opportunities.

In his speech,  Minister of State H.E. Walid Al Lafi highlighted the depth and warmth of the EU-Libya relationship and the strong spirit of partnership that unites us. EUBAM Libya Head of Mission, reiterated in his address, the commitment to work side by side, in a spirit of mutual respect and grounded dialogue to advance stability and prosperity in Libya.
