EUBAM Libya and Libyan Counterparts Convene 7th Joint Committee Meeting in Tripoli

The seventh Joint Committee meeting between EUBAM Libya and its Libyan counterparts took place today, 25 June, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Tripoli.
Co-chaired by the Head of the European Affairs Department, Ambassador Mr. Abubaker Al Taweel, and EUBAM Libya Head of Mission, Mr. Frederik Petersen, the meeting brought together key representatives from relevant Libyan partner institutions and agencies.
Participants reviewed the Mission’s current and upcoming activities, evaluated progress since the last Joint Committee, and received an update on the ongoing projects.
The Joint Committee acts as the steering body for the Memorandum of Understanding signed between both parties in October 2023.
