From Officers to Educators: Empowering Female Police Trainers

A group of female officers of various ranks participated in a Training of Trainers (ToT) course, delivered by EUBAM experts at the Women’s Police Training Center in Tripoli.

Highlighting the significance of the program, Brigadier General Jood Al Shoshan stated:

"The training was a truly vital and unique experience, arriving at a critical moment when female security institutions need to develop a cadre of qualified trainers. The program struck an ideal balance between theory and practice. This allowed us to sharpen our instructional and communication skills under the expert supervision of EUBAM and with the valued support of the Office of Women’s Affairs."

During two intensive weeks of knowledge exchange, the participants strengthened their skills in adult learning methodologies, interactive facilitation, and presentation techniques. The program utilized specialised case studies directly related to the real-world challenges these officers face in their daily operations.

Aspiring trainers received peer feedback and refined their techniques under the guidance of EUBAM experts. The ultimate goal was to build the confidence and competence necessary for each participant to independently design and deliver high-quality, impactful training sessions tailored to the challenges of their specific departments.
