EUBAM Rafah has suspended its border activities until further notice

In light of the ongoing security situation and the declaration of a state of emergency in Israel, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) has confirmed that all crossings into the Gaza Strip are closed until further notice.
This includes the Rafah Crossing. As a consequence, EUBAM Rafah has suspended its activities pending further updates.
EUBAM Rafah stands ready to resume full border operations as soon as the security situation allows.
