EUCAP and the European Union Delegation visit Kourémalé

EUCAP Sahel Mali, together with the European Union Delegation and accompanied by the Border Police Directorate, visited the Special Border Police Station in Kourémalé.

The visit provided an opportunity to observe the added value of this post, which was built, equipped, and secured as part of an EUCAP project.

During the visit, Commissioner presented the use of the various technical resources as well as the daily work carried out by the police officers assigned to this border station. In the course of the discussions, the Acting Head of Mission, noted that the implementation of this project helps combat irregular migration, human trafficking, organised crime, and terrorism, while also improving the protection of local populations.
