EUCAP Sahel Mali supports training of Gendarmerie medical personnel on malaria

For two days, the EUCAP Sahel Mali medical team, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer of the National Gendarmerie and experts from the Applied Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology in Bamako, led a training course on malaria treatment.

Around 15 gendarmes from the health service (nurses, doctors, and laboratory technicians from the Medical Center of the National Gendarmerie School) took part to strengthen their capacity to treat this disease in training schools.

On this occasion, EUCAP also handed over microscopes and malaria diagnostic equipment to the school's medical service laboratory.
