The discussion focused on the progress of the WAPIS program ( West African Police Information System) in Mali and on EUCAP's support for this project within the framework of the EUCAP / INTERPOL partnership to provide technical support to Malian judicial investigation services.

WAPIS is a program funded by the European Union, implemented by INTERPOL with the strategic support of ECOWAS, intended to increase the capacity of West African judicial investigation services engaged in the fight against transnational crime and terrorism thanks to the strengthening of information sharing.
