Selingué: EUCAP and the Ministry of Security Assess Future Projects

On 16 December 2025, a delegation from EUCAP Sahel Mali, led by its Head of Mission, Peter Grabow Kolding, visited Selingué in the Bougouni region, approximately 140 km from Bamako, alongside the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection (MSPC).

The visit aimed to assess future projects designed to strengthen the capacities of the Internal Security Forces and to reaffirm the Mission’s commitment to securing borders and protecting populations. The delegation also went to the Selingué prefecture for a courtesy visit.

The proposed projects, resulting from consultations with the MSPC, will contribute to strengthening the security framework in the southern part of the country.
