EUCAP Somalia Reaffirms Support for Police Reform and Security Sector Accountability

On 26 October, EUCAP Somalia hosted a meeting with the Minister of Internal Security, the Head of the EU Delegation to Somalia and the EUCAP Head of Mission.

Discussions covered the Mission’s mandate, ongoing operational activities and the way forward for EUCAP’s support to the Ministry, with a focus on strengthening oversight and accountability, supporting police legislative reforms and improving coordination and information-sharing.

Working together to strengthen Somali ownership and build effective, accountable security institutions.
