Federal Darwish and Somali Police Force - Department of Coast Guard participate in Platoon Leaders and Training of Trainers courses

EUCAP Somalia has concluded three intensive two-week training courses for 30 participants from the Federal Darwish and the SPF Department of Coast Guard, strengthening leadership, training, and operational capacities within Somalia’s security institutions.

The courses included a Platoon Leader’s course, a Training of Trainers programme, and a specialised Training of Trainers course for shooting instructors. Participants gained practical skills to lead future Federal Darwish courses, deliver maritime training, and work effectively alongside the Mission’s international police trainers.

Through these trainings, EUCAP Somalia continues to support the development of sustainable local training capacities, empowering Somali security personnel to independently train future officers and enhance operational readiness in the country.
