Field Office Puntland holds constructive meeting with Judge of Bossaso First Instance Court

On 16 November, EUCAP Somalia’s Field Office Puntland held a constructive meeting with a Judge of the Bossaso First Instance Court to further strengthen institutional cooperation and support the administration of justice in Puntland. Discussions focused on enhancing coordination between judicial actors, identifying future areas of collaboration, and supporting ongoing efforts to improve legal processes.

During the meeting, the Field Office also handed over 60 printed copies of the Somali Criminal Procedure Code, responding to needs highlighted by the Puntland Attorney General’s Office and the Courts. This contribution aims to support judges, prosecutors, and legal practitioners in ensuring consistent application of the law and improving access to essential legal references across the judiciary.
