Field Office Somaliland supported Somaliland maritime stakeholders in organizing a two-day workshop on International Maritime Laws, Conventions and Governance in Hargeisa.

The workshop brought together representatives from government ministries, the Somaliland Coast Guard, law enforcement agencies, maritime institutions, and technical experts to strengthen knowledge of international maritime law and enhance cooperation among maritime stakeholders.

Through expert presentations and interactive discussions, participants explored key topic related to maritime safety and security, The workshop strengthened participant’s understanding of international maritime legal frameworks while promoting greater coordination and cooperation among Somaliland’s maritime institutions.
