Women employed in the maritime security sector participate in seminar by Field Office Puntland

On 21–22 December, EUCAP Somalia’s Puntland Field Office successfully conducted a seminar in Bosaso, focusing on women employed in the maritime security sector.  

The seminar promoted inclusion, raising awareness, and strengthening the role of women in maritime law enforcement and governance.

The event provided a platform for active interaction and discussion, allowing participants to share their professional experiences, challenges, and perspectives, while identifying opportunities for future engagement. 

The seminar also contributed to enhanced interaction among relevant authorities, and participants expressed a strong interest in further capacity-building initiatives, including extended training programmes in areas such as leadership.
