Call for Proposals to award Grants to Non-Governmental Organisations: Inclusive approaches and stakeholder participation

This call will promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law and ensure the inclusive participation of stakeholders in development processes.

In line with the EU’s commitment to inclusive development, the call will support initiatives that:

• Improve capacity of local partners including NGOs to address human rights issues.

• Advocate for an enabling environment/context.

• Strengthen skills in reporting, stakeholder submissions, coalition-building, and follow-up advocacy on international recommendations.

• Support structured engagement mechanisms that bring together stakeholders around shared development priorities.

• Encourage participation in relevant initiatives and programmes, particularly at the local level and in implementation contexts.

• Promote approaches that integrate diverse perspectives, including those of underrepresented groups.

• Support capacity development to strengthen the ability of different actors to engage in development processes.

These efforts support more inclusive, responsive, and context-aware development outcomes while strengthening collaboration and shared ownership among stakeholders.
