1st Quick Reaction Force of the Commandos of the FADM begins the joint assisted training phase
This new stage constitutes a crucial moment in the QRF’s preparation process, enabling the integration of knowledge and skills acquired individually and their application in a collective context. Over the coming weeks, the military personnel will develop and refine fundamental tactical procedures, strengthening coordination, communication, movement within an operational environment and the ability to respond to different situations on the ground.
The collective phase represents a natural progression within the regeneration cycle, based on a step-by-step process of capability development: first the individual, then the team, and finally the QRF as a whole. This methodology helps to strengthen cohesion, discipline, interoperability and operational readiness – essential factors for the effective fulfilment of the mission.
By supporting the regeneration program, EUMAM MOZ continues to contribute to the sustainable strengthening of the FADM’s capabilities, promoting the development of autonomous, better prepared and better equipped forces, able to respond to operational challenges in Cabo Delgado.
This activity forms part of the European Union’s ongoing commitment to supporting Mozambique in strengthening its defence capabilities through specialised training, mentoring and assistance geared towards operational readiness and the security of the Mozambican people.
