EUMAM MOZ receives the visit from the Italian Parliamentary Committee
Welcomed by the Mission Force Commander, Brigadier General Luís Barroso, the Chief of Staff, Colonel Lorenzo Del Signore, and the Italian military personnel the delegation was given a briefing on EUMAM MOZ`s context and objectives.
The Vice President to Italian Parliamentary Committee on Foreing Affairs, Quartapelle Procopia, and the delegation took the opportunity to get to know more insights and the importance of the mission.

This visit helped to strengthen the partnership between the Italian authorities and EUMAM MOZ, founded on shared values, objectives, and commitments, such as the promotion of peace, regional security, and respect for human rights. The meeting provided an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding of the challenges on the ground, highlighting the importance of multilateral cooperation and the shared commitment to strengthening the capabilities of the Mozambican Armed Defence Forces (FADM) in the fight against insurgency.
