EUMAM MOZ supports the FADM in the development of a Logistic Concept to strengthen the sustainment of the Quick Reaction Forces
The establishment of the QRF represented an important step in strengthening the operational capability of the FADM. To ensure their effectiveness throughout the entire operational cycle — training, deployment and force regeneration — it is essential to have a logistic structure capable of ensuring mobility, continuity of support and sustainment across different operational scenarios.
The Concept seeks to define logistic lines of action, competences and responsibilities at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, while enhancing coordination among the different echelons involved in supporting QRF operations.
Its main objectives include the creation of a modular and scalable support model adapted to the characteristics of the terrain and the intensity of missions, the strengthening of QRF mobility, responsiveness and logistic autonomy, and the integration of 1st and 2nd line resupply, transport and maintenance capabilities. The document also establishes mechanisms for the planning, monitoring and optimisation of resource and material flows.
The implementation of these capabilities will contribute to improving the efficiency of force sustainment, reducing equipment downtime and reinforcing the operational readiness required for the successful execution of QRF missions.
