EUMAM MOZ supports launch of Forward Air Controller Course
Under the leadership of a Mozambican Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) officer, responsible for instruction, the course has been running in an exemplary and professional manner, with theoretical and practical activities aligned with international training doctrine and standards, previously conveyed by EUMAM MOZ TACP military personnel, who now provide advice and supervision.
Throughout these days, the trainees have demonstrated high commitment, discipline and mission spirit, reflecting the strong commitment of all involved to excellence in training and operational readiness.

This course also has special significance as it is the first Forward Air Controller course to be entirely organised and conducted by Mozambican TACP military personnel, following the training and capacity building provided by EUMAM MOZ military personnel.
This training is an essential step towards strengthening the TACP capabilities of the FADM, contributing to a more prepared and effective Air Force in the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado.
EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission with a mandate until June 2026 and focuses on the operational training and maintenance cycle, also providing advice and specialised training to enable the FADM to be self-sufficient in the fight against insurgency.
