Photo of FADM and EUMAM MOZ activity selected for exhibition in Brussels
The image, captured in Catembe by Second Lieutenant João Feliciano of the Portuguese Air Force, was chosen to be part of the exhibition highlighting the role of women in promoting peace and security. The exhibition, inaugurated by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, marks the 25th anniversary of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, which laid the foundations for the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.
EUMAM MOZ, 2025
EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission with a mandate until June 2026, which supports the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM) with the aim of strengthening the sustainability of Mozambique's Quick Reaction Forces (QRF), integrating them into a robust and autonomous operational cycle. It is currently commanded by Commodore César Pires Correia and comprises 83 military personnel of 12 nationalities.
