Stronger partnerships for a safer future

Maputo, Mozambique - On 4 August 2026, EUMAM MOZ brought together, at the Mission Headquarters in Maputo, representatives of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM) and several international organisations to strengthen cooperation, knowledge sharing and coordination in support of FADM training and mentoring activities.

Discussions focused on key topics such as gender, human rights, child protection and Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC), highlighting the importance of integrating these cross-cutting areas into current and future training programmes. 

Through dialogue, the sharing of best practices and the building of strong partnerships, EUMAM MOZ continues to support the development of capable, professional and resilient FADM, in line with international standards.
