Catembe, Maputo – A crucial element for operational performance in Mozambique`s geographical context, such as in the north of the country, the Riverine Operations were on focus in the context of the Train-the-Trainers Programme.

With the support of the mentoring group from the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ), the future trainers from the Quick Reaction Forces (QRF) of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM), performed Riverine Operations, at the Catembe bay, that required rigorous technical, maximum focus and physical readiness.

Covering key areas such as rowing embarkation and disembarkation, boat capsizing drills, and utility swimming, these skills are essential to ensure the mobility, safety and operational effectiveness of military forces in aquatic environments.

Aiming to develop the pedagogical skills of the participants, enabling them to deliver similar courses indenpendently in the future, the Train-the-Trainers Programme contributes to greater sustainability and self-sufficiency in Mozambique`s military training system.
