During his presentation, Rear Admiral Gryparis provided an overview of Operation ASPIDES, highlighting its contribution to safeguarding Freedom of Navigation, protecting commercial shipping, and enhancing maritime security in the Red Sea and adjacent maritime areas. He also underscored the importance of multinational cooperation, interoperability, and shared situational awareness in addressing increasingly interconnected regional and global maritime security challenges.
