EUNAVFOR ASPIDES: Medical support in the Red Sea

Flagship HNLMS Karel Doorman is ready to provide medical support in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. The ship has a fully capable hospital including a combined Dutch - Swedish medical team. By having this capability EUNAVFOR ASPIDES could react fast in case of medical emergencies in the Area of Operation. The team and the crew conduct regular trainings to be able to face medical emergencies at sea.
