On 14 December 2025, the EUNAVFOR ASPIDES Force Commander, Commodore Michail Lampiris (EL-N), paid an official visit to Colonel Wais Omar Bogoreh, Commander of the Djiboutian Coast Guard, at the Djibouti Coast Guard Headquarters.

On 15 December 2025, the Force Commander also met with the Chairman of the Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA), Mr Aboubaker Omar Hadi and the Commander of the Port of Djibouti, Captain Mohamed Moussa Abar.
