The EU supports the efforts of Mozambique in promoting peace in Cabo Delgado and its neighbouring provinces.

EUTM Mozambique conducted different types of trainings for and with the Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique (FADM), on operational preparation, counter-terrorism, compliance with human rights law and international humanitarian law, including the protection of civilians, and on respect for the rule of law.
