Donation of materials to the Izamo camp maternity ward

Located in Bangui, this maternity ward is part of the Gendarmerie Nationale and is intended to accommodate the families of military personnel, but also civilian personnel who express the need.

The Belgian Major LEMMENS, head of the SAP (Strategic Advice Pillar) project cell, and the Serbian Chief Medical Officer RADULOVIC from ROLE 1 EUTM met with the director of this maternity ward and his staff.

This meeting allowed specialists in the field of health to exchange views and to take stock of the most urgent needs of the maternity hospital which, despite a difficult context and limited resources, provides a very good quality service for the local population.

On this occasion, a donation of health equipment was made by EUTM RCA which will enable the maternity hospital to optimise the quality of its services.
