This category evaluates the sustainability of tangible products, from consumer goods to industrial components.

Projects do not necessarily need to satisfy all of the criteria as listed below.

Evaluation criteria include:

1. LIFECYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA) & CIRCULARITY
- Material Sourcing: Are materials responsibly sourced (e.g., recycled content, renewable resources, fair trade)? Are conflict minerals avoided?
- Manufacturing Process: Does the manufacturing process minimize energy and water consumption, waste generation, and pollution?
- Durability & Longevity: Is the product designed to last, resisting obsolescence (both functional and perceived)?
- Repairability & Modularity: Can components be easily repaired, replaced, or upgraded? Is it designed for disassembly?
- End-of-Life: Can the product or its components be effectively recycled, composted, or safely returned to the environment? Is packaging minimized and sustainable?

2. RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
- Energy Use: Is the product energy-efficient during use? Does it minimize standby power?
- Water Use: Does the product conserve water where applicable?
- Material Reduction: Is the product designed with minimal material usage without compromising performance?

3. HEALTH & SAFETY
- Non-Toxic Materials: Are harmful chemicals and materials avoided throughout the product's lifecycle?
- User Safety: Is the product safe for its intended use and disposal?
