EVSDA 2025 – ‘INNOVATION’ SHORTLIST – KHOAI LAMPS (LÊ TRẦN KHÁNH PHƯƠNG)

The project is part of the author’s graduation thesis at Ton Duc Thang University. The lamp set is designed using a material that the author developed independently from sweet potatoes after extensive research. This material was then applied in creating a set of bedside lamps.

In addition to the material derived from sweet potatoes, the lamps’ shapes and designs are inspired by the characteristics, forms, and various processed states of sweet potatoes. The product name is a playful wordplay, transforming “Đèn Khoai Lang” (Sweet Potato Lamp) into “Khoai Lamps.”
