Project Objectives

- Create biodegradable packaging from rice husks that protects ceramic products during transportation while incorporating aesthetic and local cultural elements.

- Design a packaging system that can be upcycled into useful items after fulfilling its protective function.

- Enhance the brand value of Bát Tràng ceramics and promote sustainable consumer habits.

Materials Used

- Fine-ground rice husk: Readily available agricultural by-product, environmentally friendly.

- Lignin: Natural bio-adhesive, safe and durable.

- Jute rope: Natural material used for connecting modules or creating handles.
