Long Bien House is a 2.5-storey townhouse, over 20 years old. Based on the existing open structure, the old frame is retained and reinforced minimally, helping to save costs, shorten construction time and create a multi-purpose, flexible space in use. 

A new functional block was added, taking advantage of the view and connectivity with the surrounding residential area. The new block is subtly stacked on the old building, creating a blend of old and new, traditional and modern, reflecting a balanced approach between conservation and contemporary architectural innovation.
