The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) launches the EU-LAC Supercomputing Network for AI, as part of the EU’s Global Gateway strategy.

As of 10 April 2026 the European Entry-Exit System (EES) is fully operational at all external border crossing points of the countries using EES.

Government websites have been hacked, online exploitation of children has infiltrated schools and the increasing use of crypto currencies to fund criminal activities are but a few examples of cyber-criminal activity impacting the Caribbean region. The CARICOM Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Action Plan (CCSCAP) 2025 is the shield to protect the Caribbean cyberspace.

The new Entry/Exit System (EES) started to be operational on  12 October 2025. It is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of any of the following European countries using the system.
