Results of Erasmus +2016 scholarship selection rounds for Erasmus mundus joint programmes
The grant award decision for the award of scholarships by these programmes was taken on 2 May 2016. A total of 848 master students and doctoral candidates worldwide have been awarded a scholarship under this selection round. These scholarships will allow them to participate in excellent joint master and doctoral programmes that were selected during the previous phase of the Erasmus Mundus programme and are still on-going. The 848 scholarship holders have been selected by 60 Erasmus Mundus Master Courses and 18 Joint Doctorates.
Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third-Countries.
Under the Erasmus Mundus Programme, in May 2016, the 15 Ghanaians have been awarded a scholarship to participate in excellent joint master and Doctoral programmes in Europe.
Scholarship holders will start their study programmes in August-September 2016. They were selected from universities in Accra, Cape Coast, Kumasi and Winneba.
European host Universities in Europe are located in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom or Norway
