“Growing Together: Celebrating 25 years of the Youth Partnership”

For the 25^th anniversary of the Youth Partnership, a high-level plenary exchange took place on 31^st May, with the participation of Sophia Eriksson Waterschoot, Director for Youth, Education and Erasmus+ of the European Commission, and Matjaž Gruden, Director of Democratic Participation of the Council of Europe. They discussed the valuable contribution of the Youth Partnership to the implementation of the strategies of both institutions in the field of youth and to evidence-based policy making and shared their vision for the future. Symposium “Visible Value: Growing youth work in Europe”

On 31 May – 1 June 2023, the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership organised the symposium “Visible Value: Growing youth work in Europe’’, halfway between two European Youth Work Conventions. The event took stock of the steps forward on youth work development and in the implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda (EYWA), and streamlined and promoted a continuous constructive dialogue with the community of practice. Over 100 participants from the European youth work community of practice had a space for networking, sharing tools for practical support, and for discussing latest research findings on youth work development.
