Call for proposals (restricted) — EuropeAid/185125/DD/ACT/YE

The European Union Delegation to Yemen is pleased to announce the publication of a new Call for Proposals as part of the EU Support to Civil Society Organisations in Yemen. 

The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the capacities of local civil society organisations as promoters of good governance, social development, and inclusive and sustainable growth.

The deadline for submitting proposals is January 29th 2026 at 12 p.m. (Brussels time). 

Please find below more information on the specific objectives of this CfP, eligibility criteria, relevant links and registration for the information sessions. 

 

The specific objectives are:

•    Strengthen the capacities of local CSOs as actors of good governance and accountability. 
•    Strengthen the capacities of local CSOs so that they can participate in social development, inclusive growth, and meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations.

ELIGIBILITY:

•    Eligible organizations are civil society organizations. 
•    The initial planned duration of an action cannot be less than 36 months nor exceed 48 months. 
•    The actions must be implemented in Yemen. 
•    Proposals from local CSOs will be strongly encouraged, to promote local ownership. 
•    Applications submitted by organizations not established in Yemen must include a partnership with at least one local organization.

The overall indicative amount available for this call for proposals is EUR 4,084,330.  


DEADLINE:  The deadline for submitting proposals is January 29th 2026 at 12 p.m. (Brussels time). 

INFORMATION SESSION: The information session will take place online the 2 December 2025. Another session may take place in Aden on 6 December 2025. The exact place and timing will be confirmed in due time to those who register to participate.
