Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC) launches a transparent divestment process
The auction is conducted through the specialised platform Escrapalia (Surus Group).
The Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC) has launched a public auction of a wide range of material from the EUTM Mali mission. The assets, formerly stationed at the Daoiz y Velarde Barracks in Paterna (Valencia) and now transferred to Puerto Sagunto, represent key components of the EU’s operational footprint in Mali over more than a decade.
This initiative is part of the MPCC’s institutional strategy to ensure that the drawdown of missions is conducted professionally. Through efficient, secure and fully documented procedures that respect EU rules on health, technology, dual-use items and financial accountability. The operation also reflects the Union’s commitment to circular-economy principles, ensuring that assets retain value and continue to serve civilian or institutional purposes. Now located in Puerto Sagunto, the assets were previously stored at the Daoiz y Velarde Barracks (Paterna, Valencia). The auction is conducted through the specialised platform Escrapalia (Surus Group).
