Brief of the works: The contract covers the strengthening and restructuring of the Greater Irbid City water distribution networks and Irbid pump stations, including: Construction and rehabilitation of water distribution networks in urban areas Laying of ductile iron pipes (DN up to 600 mm) and HDPE pipes (OD up to 160 mm) Construction of pumping stations with SCADA implementation House connections and hydro-mechanical equipment Road reinstatement works Contract Duration: 730 days (Time for Completion) Defects Notification Period: 365 days Contract Type: Admeasurement contract (unit price contract) Conditions of Contract: FIDIC MDB Harmonized Edition (2010)
Brief of the procurement process and contract: The tender procedure follows a one-stage single-envelope International Procurement Competition (IPC) without prior prequalification (post-qualification applies). The selection of Contractors is subject to the regulations of the financing institutions. Works are to be implemented under FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction (MDB Harmonized Edition, 2010). The Bid shall be submitted in English. The currency of the Bid and payment under the contract is Euro (EUR), with local expenses expressed in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) and international expenses in EUR or USD.
