Building Maritime Partnerships

The Maritime Sub-Working Group convened for its eighth meeting at the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs to evaluate ongoing maritime projects and track key initiatives. The working group is co-chaired by the Mission and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and brings the Mission together with key Libyan representative from the Coast Guard, Port Authorities, and customs. 

EUBAM has supported the Libyan authorities since 2013 in the enhancing of land, sea, and air border security.
