Many thanks to our outgoing Head of Mission Nataliya Apostolova

Many thanks to our outgoing Head of Mission, Nataliya Apostolova, for her impactful and invaluable contribution during the past three years.
Her leadership and dedication throughout such exceptionally challenging times, and her outstanding commitment to EUBAM Rafah's mandate, including the important work at the Rafah Border Crossing, are truly appreciated.

EUBAM Rafah wishes you all the very best for the next chapter, with continued success, happiness and, above all, peace.

Farewell message by the Head of Mission of EUBAM Rafah:
“As I conclude my mandate as Head of Mission of EUBAM Rafah, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our partners, friends, and members of the diplomatic community for their support and cooperation over the past three years.

Since October 2023, the Mission has operated in an exceptionally challenging environment. Despite the immense difficulties, EUBAM Rafah remained committed to its mandate and was able to make a meaningful contribution, including to humanitarian efforts supporting the evacuation of patients and accompanying people from Gaza for urgent medical treatment.

Leading EUBAM Rafah during these extraordinary years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my professional life. I leave with great pride in what we have achieved together and deep appreciation for the trust, partnership, and friendship shown to the Mission throughout these extraordinary years.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. I wish you all continued success, peace, and every good wish for the future.

With gratitude and warm regards.
Nataliya
