EU and CCCPA Host Road to Schuman Forum for Security & Defence in Cairo

The EU Delegation to Egypt, in collaboration with the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA), hosted the Road to Schuman Forum for Security & Defence.

Bringing together government officials, diplomats, experts and academics, the conference explored pressing regional security challenges, the EU–Egypt strategic partnership, and the role of multilateral cooperation in advancing peace and stability.

Discussions focused on navigating protracted conflicts, counterterrorism and maritime security threats, strengthening EU–Egypt cooperation for regional resilience, and reinforcing multilateral efforts in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.

Through dialogue and partnership, the EU and Egypt continue to engage on shared security challenges and work towards a more peaceful and stable region.
