In the framework of the “Enhancing the capacity of national actors in promoting and effectively protecting human rights” Project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, a Resource Centre has been set up in Baku.

The main objective of the Resource Centre is to provide free legal services to members of vulnerable groups. A wide range of services include provision of free legal advice and consultations, assisting the applicants in drafting law suits, motions and other documents necessary for the court proceedings and assistance in preparing and submitting written requests to various agencies. 

In addition to free legal services, the Resource Centre provides necessary facilities for national civil society organizations and lawyers’ community members interested in conducting capacity-building and awareness-raising events, with a special focus on the promotion and protection of human rights.
