MESSAGE FROM THE AMBASSADOR
Dear Visitor,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Delegation of the European Union to Rwanda. This website serves as the gateway to the European Union and to our activities in Rwanda. I encourage you to navigate through the depth and the breadth of our EU-Rwanda partnership!
The EU and Rwanda have a long-standing partnership at multilateral, regional and bilateral level. The EU-AU Joint vision for 2030, guides our renewed partnership among equals to build a common future.
Our partnership is based on shared values of democracy, governance and human rights; on joint interests and mutual respect; and on the ownership of Rwandans of the destiny of their country. The European Union and its Member States as #TeamEurope, support Rwanda transformation agenda and progress towards the Sustainable development goals. #Team Europe, in close partnership with EU private sector, is supporting Rwanda to prepare for the domestic manufacturing of vaccines. We are actively engaged on education, skills and decent jobs for the youth. We support a Green Deal for Inclusive Development. We support political governance and the daily path to reconciliation. We engage on economic governance to increase trade and investment. Our close partnership makes us stronger and reinforces our capacity to deliver change that improve lives.
